Margarita Grueskin is a lifestyle educator, speaker and coach. She has been studying yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda since 2004 and received certifications from the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, CA; the Kriya Yoga Institute in Chicago, IL; and the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA.
Margarita’s academic background includes a BA in Economics and a Masters in Urban Planning (M.U.R.P.). She began her 15-year career as an Executive Consultant, working with KPMG, Andersen, and Ernst & Young; focused on working with Fortune 500 companies and in Community Development work. Currently, Margarita’s focus is developing whole-person health and well-being programs.
As a wellness innovator and Socialpreneur, Margarita founded Ekam Yoga in Houston, TX in 2008. Serving as lead instructor and studio director, she created a community-based performance center for yoga and ayurveda. In 2015, she became co-founder of the civic engagement platform, iDoYoga San Antonio, which focuses on free yoga, workshops and conferences for at-risk and underserved members of the greater community.
Most recently, Margarita received life coaching certifications from Optimize and Worldwide Yoga Health Coaching and is currently pursuing a Lifestyle Medicine Health & Wellness Coaching certification from Wellcoaches. She received her Diplomate in Logotherapy in 2020 from the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy. Her vision is to create whole-person, meaning-centered lifestyle programs, which combine Yoga and Ayurveda with modern theories from Logotherapy, Positive Psychology and Lifestyle Medicine. Margarita currently lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband and their two cats, Boris and Natasha.
